About SmartHomePicks
SmartHomePicks is an independent website for shoppers in the United States who want practical kitchen gadgets and smart home products without the hype. We start with an everyday annoyance, such as a crowded counter, a slow weeknight dinner or a front door you can’t keep an eye on, and point to widely available products that may help.
What you’ll find here
- Short notes on who each product is for and what to check on the Amazon listing before you order.
- Buying guides for gifts, small kitchens and smart home beginners.
- A search and filter tool to browse by problem, category or price level.
What we don’t do
We don’t claim to have tested the products we feature, and we don’t publish star ratings or customer reviews. Our notes are based on manufacturer and retailer listing information, and we say so when a detail needs confirming. We don’t show prices because they change often. Read more in our How We Choose Products and Editorial Policy pages.
How the site is funded
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Links to Amazon on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
